I'm Ranjit, based in Bengaluru. I started building for Android in 2013, later in Kotlin, and worked cross-platform in Flutter.
Today I lead the frontend team at Jupiter Money — onboarding, savings, payments, investments, rewards, commerce, and the frontend platform underneath them.

June 2021 – Present · Bengaluru, KA
Frontend Lead at Jupiter Money
- Leading the frontend team with horizontal ownership across onboarding, savings account, home, payments, PPI, investments, help centre, rewards, and commerce — plus the frontend platform underneath them — in a React Native app serving millions of users.
- Driving test automation (Maestro) and release verification for critical payment and banking flows.
- Architecting and executing the XState v4 to v5 migration across 16+ state machine files in a large-scale monorepo.
- Spearheading CI/CD improvements via Codemagic — designing tag-based build triggers and a TypeScript MCP server for build management.
- Hardening Android SMS OTP reading pipelines with multi-strategy ContentObserver, ForegroundService, and OEM-specific URI resolution to support diverse device ecosystems.
- Enforcing frontend architecture standards: TypeScript-first, custom hook conventions, and XState-driven UI logic.

Technical Lead at Fanspole
- Designed, developed and maintained an MVVM-architecture Android app written entirely in Kotlin from scratch for Fanspole's online fantasy gaming platform.
- Simultaneously shipped the Fanspole iOS app in Flutter, maintaining feature parity across both platforms.
- Worked on a real-time chat application in Flutter (Dodaa) from concept to beta release.
- Led a small engineering team end-to-end — from sprint planning and architecture decisions to code review and deployment.
